learning curve, as my lips touch yours
it was you.[[MORE]]
it is you, fuck.
your skin, your voice, your eyes,
I had no choice.
I ran again, go tell your friends,
I’ll never see those eyes again.
can we pretend sunsets don’t end?
my mind frames you, eternal flower,
pressed between the glass of memory, eternally beautiful.
dry your tears, honey bee, the world is warm,
I’ll set you free.
stars shine[[MORE]] in the night sky,
whether or not you care.
the moon will wax and wane,
torrential rain on your window pane,
while cold skies offer me no shelter.
miles, so many miles,
between us, between you and I.
plane or train bring me pain,
to think you could be
here.
there is a hole, devoid of substance,
pouring it’s cold upon my heart:
cascade as I fade into sleep.
one day[[MORE]] soft light enters a room as you walk in,
with a warmth that reminds of your youth and sunsets on the water.
she is waiting patiently, not for you, but to to become lost in the room and the sounds of it.
she embraces you as if you had been gone forever, a tight embrace that speaks through skin contact.
thank you for being, thank you for being here, thank you for sharing this...
